I had done this role about twenty years earlier. I was a much better song-and-dance man back then. But this production solidified my friendship with Leslie Hardy Tamel, who played Lucille, my wife.

She kept me going (or was that nagging?) while we were doing our FULL-LENGTH dance number in Act Two. She and choreographer Dottie Lester-White made doing that number a joy.
