No No Nanette
1993
I began my acting "career" when I was literally thrown onstage as a sophomore in high school. The director made me an understudy, a supporting actor had to quit the show, I got his role, and I was hooked.

Acting is something I have greatly enjoyed and still do from time to time. But as I grow older, I grow lazier, less confident and these days prefer more to repeat roles I've done earlier. And I really don't like putting makeup on that much anymore. (Not that I ever liked it that much to begin with)

On my mother's side, I'm related to an old Hollywood acting family. A cousin, Wallace Beery, won a Best Actor Oscar™ in 1930 for The Champ. His nephew, Noah Beery, Jr., played Rocky on The Rockford Files.

Someday I may use that connection. But I haven't yet.

Here are some of things I've done onstage -- in front of a paying public.
